Facilities Service Worker

Salary Range: $17.40 - $19.75 Hourly

General Qualifications

The Facilities Service Worker is a Ministerial Support position. No personal affirmation of MHA's Christian mission, vision, and beliefs is required, but respect, harmony, and adherence to MHA's culture code and standards of conduct are expected. Joining gatherings, including prayer, worship, and Bible-centered teaching, is also required.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Aid in preparing facilities for camps and conferences to meet guest needs.
• Clean facilities during events and camps, addressing guest needs and ensuring a comfortable environment.
• Perform periodic maintenance tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and debris removal.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to supervisor to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards.
• Properly maintain assigned tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow supervisor's direction for other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Minimum 1 year of custodial experience.
• Basic mechanical experience and ability.

Physical Demands

• Work both inside and outside in various weather conditions.
• Perform tasks requiring walking, climbing, sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Additional Requirements/Skills

• Ability to drive and operate large vehicles and stick shift.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
