Facilities Service Technician

About the role

Join our Maintenance Team serving Midwest Health’s Senior Living Communities in your region. You’ll handle repairs, maintain the physical structure, equipment, and grounds of our communities. Reliable transportation is required.

We are hiring one full-time employee for our Wichita region.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Maintain complex grounds in an orderly fashion, free from hazards, debris, and clutter.
• Keep sidewalks and drives free from snow, ice, leaves, and in good repair.
• Maintain the building, including painting, replacing worn or stained tiles, repairing furniture, locks, baseboards, trim, and windows.
• Ensure the electrical system and all electrical appliances are in good working condition.
• Keep all plumbing in working order and good repair.
• Maintain all complex equipment, including washers, dryers, boilers, air conditioners, furnaces, and lawn mowers.
• Provide 24-hour availability for maintenance emergencies.
