About the role
The Facilities Representative, Entry Level - Distribution Center is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the automated distribution center. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, lighting fixtures, and other facility equipment
- Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines
- Participate in periodic inspections and audits to maintain compliance with industry standards
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address facility-related concerns
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience in facility maintenance or a similar field
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Experience with basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices
