About the Role
McKesson’s temperature-controlled automated Distribution Center is currently hiring a junior to intermediate level Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. The distribution team seeks an individual with repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. The candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups, from upper management to front-line employees, and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on new conveyance systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment used in a distribution center environment.
- Safely use various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.).
- Apply knowledge of lock out/tag out and OSHA safety standards.
- Perform general labor tasks, including standing, sitting, walking, and working at heights in a warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Facility, maintenance, or service technician experience.
- Troubleshooting and repair experience with distribution center equipment.
- Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments and various trades.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights, including climbing up to four-story heights in a warehouse environment.
- Includes use of ladders, scissor lifts, fork trucks, and other equipment.
Pay
$25–30/hour + $1/hour shift differential.
Base pay range for this position: $20.45 – $34.08. Other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may be offered.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM–12 AM. Overtime mandatory if required. Shift subject to change based on business needs.
