Facilities Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical and Project Engineer to lead and manage facility-related projects, including designing mechanical systems, developing schedules, budgets, and resource planning. Work conditions: office and industrial environments, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work to support project and production needs.

Responsibilities

• Creating scope documents
• Managing contractor selection
• Overseeing project execution to ensure timely and within-budget completion
• Supporting operations of mechanical systems such as fans, pumps, chillers, and managing site documentation
• Managing Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), including specification, design, operation, and maintenance, ensuring system performance and updates
• Providing technical support for mechanical/electrical equipment design, troubleshooting, and training FAC staff on system enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-6 years of experience managing mechanical and facility projects
• Intermediate knowledge of control systems architecture and programming (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell)
