Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Facility & Equipment Management. Direct the operation of physical facility functions, including equipment installations, plant layouts, and service functions.
• Oversee outside contractors and ensure the maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
• Design, plan, and facilitate capital projects. Determine the feasibility of new equipment or facility modifications by analyzing costs, available space, and technical requirements.
• Provide leadership to the maintenance team by developing, training, and motivating staff. Assign workflows, enforce safety regulations, and assist in resolving complex work problems.
• Analyze engineering proposals and process requirements. Provide technical data regarding manufacturing techniques, materials, and process limitations to support long-range planning.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform cost estimating, and test newly installed machinery to ensure it meets contract specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement, advocating for safety, ergonomics, and automation to help the organization work smarter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related Engineering field. Candidates without a bachelor's degree will be considered based on experience as it relates to the manufacturing company.
• Three (3) or more years of relevant maintenance engineering supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Benefits

• Base salary of $95,000-$130,000 per year plus a 5% bonus.
