About the role

The Maintenance Personnel is responsible for performing a variety of routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the church and school facilities are clean, safe, and functioning efficiently. This role supports both the ministry and educational operations by maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Overseas the on-going maintenance of buildings and grounds for the Parish and School.
• Represents the parish when dealing with outside contractors in all major maintenance, construction and renovation projects.
• Identifies outside contractors, vendors and service providers and negotiates contracts.
• Performs preventive maintenance to buildings and grounds to minimize plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and heating system failures.
• Diagnoses problems and makes needed repairs to buildings.
• Check boilers for proper operation making adjustments as appropriate.
• Schedule annual Backflow, Boiler and fire extinguisher inspections.
