Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of client-owned facilities and equipment. Facility systems include all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, and utility systems installed in/on the customer’s property and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment.
- Perform Pre-Job Hazardous Assessment, Job Risk Review, identify high-potential risks, conduct audits and observations, and follow all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate and maintain HVAC systems, including window units, packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs), condensers, evaporators, rooftop units (RTUs), and cooled chillers.
- Perform light maintenance and preventive maintenance (PMs) on water coolers, ice machines, and associated rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace non-energized receptacles, switches, breakers, ballasts, light fixtures, exit signs, emergency lighting, and indoor/outdoor lighting during lockout-tagout (LOTO).
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including lift stations, water pumps, bathroom fixtures, flush valves, and minor drain maintenance.
- Repair or replace windows, doors, flooring, siding, patch drywall, paint, and perform other construction-related tasks to maintain facilities.
- Use hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance, ranging from complete overhauls to replacing defective components according to manufacturer specifications.
- Record relevant events and facts concerning operation and maintenance in an equipment log.
- Develop strong customer service-oriented relationships with clients, employees, and managers.
- Solve client facilities-related problems.
- Conduct day-to-day activities to ensure the safety and comfort of the facility's occupants.
- Maintain a spare parts inventory, including maintenance and plumbing supplies, hardware, air filters, belts, motors, pumps, lights, ballasts, fixtures, electrical supplies, and minor construction supplies in a cost-effective manner.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to protect the value and extend the life of all facility equipment, ensuring cost-effective operation.
- Report all emergencies and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a professional appearance, including proper upkeep of company uniforms.
- Follow client processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
Pay
$22.53 - $26.50 per hour
