About the role

Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Position to support the maintenance and upkeep of commercial and residential buildings across multiple properties in the greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining and upkeeping of commercial and residential buildings
  • Perform typical work site duties including lifting, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling
  • Lift up to 100 lbs as needed
  • Utilize common hand and power tools
  • Follow company safety standards
  • Drive a vehicle for work purposes, with a valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Work some weekends due to laboratory operating hours

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Experience with minor electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry (required)
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Familiarity with and ability to use common hand and power tools
  • Valid US driver’s license issued at least 5 years prior to the date of hire, with a clean driving record (no at-fault accidents in the last 5 years)

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work some weekends
  • Exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment may pose risks for individuals with moderate to severe food allergies

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 hourly.
