Responsibilities
- Aid the Facilities Shift Supervisor in monitoring, production, planning, coordinating, training, and inspecting the work being performed by staff.
- Perform quality assurance checks on work performed by staff and contractors.
- Identify and locate appropriate parts for the supervisor to order.
- Perform and/or direct prescribed preventative maintenance on facilities related systems or building components or maintenance activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required, and must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
- A minimum of five (5) years of verified experience in a Facilities Operations/Maintenance role, in a Hospital/Healthcare environment is required.
- -or-
- A certified completion of a Vocational Technical program and/or apprenticeship in one of the building trades (i.e. Carpenter, Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Plant Operator, etc.) and a minimum of three (3) years Hospital/Healthcare Facilities experience is required.
