About the role
This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained to support daily operations and long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing issues, and other building maintenance related issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Aid with facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects
- Support emergency response efforts, including snow removal, storm cleanup, and urgent repairs
- Operate a personal or city vehicle

Physical Demands
- Essential duties require the following physical skills and work environment:
- Work evenings, nights, and weekends
- On-call rotation availability for emergencies is required and must be able to respond within thirty (30) minutes
