Job Summary
Responsible for general maintenance of the casino/hotel buildings. Performs basic duties in several areas of operations services. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair property equipment.
- Maintain logs on equipment.
- Proficiency in all phases of operation of fire panels.
- Recommend needed parts for purchase, order parts and services if needed.
- Responds to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
- Experience with plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, painting, and repair or maintenance of central heating and air conditioning systems.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Able to operate forklift.
- Able to operate motor vehicles.
- Able to operate computer to access work orders, update work orders, and respond to relevant e-mails as needed.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks on a minute-by-minute basis and ability to meet deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- May be required to qualify for and maintain gaming license.
- May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver’s license.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer service.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the staff.
- Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
- Excellent math and communication skills.
Education And Experience
- High school degree or equivalent is preferred; one to four years’ experience preferred.
- Must be able to safely operate mechanical tools and inspection gauges.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, samples, specifications and be able to follow verbal instructions.
- Must be able to safely work at varying heights throughout the facility utilizing ladders and scaffolds.
- Must be able to demonstrate safe lifting capability for 50 pounds on a regular basis and be able to operate lifting mechanisms for heavier loads.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
- The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
