Facilities Equipment Technician

About the role

We're seeking dependable Technicians to join our award-winning facilities team. You'll support the equipment that keeps our campus running every day including kitchen appliances, ventilation systems, and other mechanical equipment across our 9-million-square-foot, state-of-the-art campus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, maintain and repair commercial kitchen appliances, ventilation systems, and related equipment
• Respond to service calls, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and restore equipment to working order
• Follow safety procedures related to electrical, gas, and workplace standards

Requirements

We welcome candidates with a strong desire to learn, grow, and build technical skills over time. You must be able to live affordably in a city known for its rising tech talent. Epic is located just outside Madison, Wisconsin, the second fastest growing market for tech talent in the United States and home to the state capital and the University of Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area

Skills

Key skills include knowledge of commercial kitchen appliances, ventilation systems, and related equipment. Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues and following safety procedures related to electrical, gas, and workplace standards is preferred.
