Facilities Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical and Project Engineer to develop, communicate, and oversee operational plans for various projects involving mechanical systems such as HVAC, boilers, pumps, and controllers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress, resolve operational issues, and optimize system performance
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources
• Support or lead projects beyond mechanical engineering
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Support facility reliability
• Maintain documentation and drawings
• Evaluate and implement innovative solutions
• Manage contractor bids
• Supervise project teams
• Train staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Up to 6 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems
• Project management skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work safely in manufacturing environments

Schedule

Periodic travel required; flexibility to work overtime as needed.
