Responsibilities
- To install and maintain the electrical components of the park's rides and equipment including lighting.
- From blueprints, drawings, models or verbal instructions, performs general electrical work: changing transformers, running conduit, and pulling wire using a variety of hand and power tools and standard measuring instruments.
- Selects materials necessary for the work.
- Welding and soldering skills preferred for natural transition into the position.
- A thorough knowledge of National Electricians' Code.
- Ability to work with varying voltages up to and including 13,000 volts.
- Basic analytical skills necessary to organize workload to establish priorities.
- Ability to read materials (including blueprints and drawings) to interpret and analyze content.
- Ability to write to explain or describe.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 75% of work activities.
- Requires ability to operate:
- Standard electrical maintenance equipment and hand tools
- Vehicles
- Hydraulic benders
- Ladders and scaffolding
- Electrical testing equipment
- Welding equipment
Qualifications
- Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Associate Degree (2-year College or Tech School)
- 3-5 Years Related Experience
- At Least 18 Years of Age
- Must be able to work from ladders, lifts, and platforms.
- Must be able to read electrical schematics, charts, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Must be able to identify electrical wires by color.

- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
