Facilities Contractor Escort (Part-Time)
About the role
OUC - The Reliable One is seeking a Part-time Facilities Contractor Escort to join the Financial & Support Services division. The position requires scheduling flexibility with anticipated work hours of 7 AM-3:30 PM on Monday & Tuesday and 7 AM - 11 AM on Wednesday. Responsibilities
- Escort contractors on OUC’s various sites and substations.
- Inspect sites and communicate inspection results to a Facilities Supervisor.
- Ensure contractors adhere to OUC’s policies and regulations.
- Complete detailed lists of any discrepancies to be turned over to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience preferably in a facility maintenance capacity.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of facility maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to:
- Work extended hours when required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Work in confined areas, heights, and around insects.
- Work in extreme weather, noxious fumes, chemicals, and excessive noise.
- Constantly inspect/ read/edit, walk, speak, hear (English), stand, write, sit, lift up to 50 lbs., bend/stoop, push/pull, dig, reach overhead, kneel/crawl, climb, type/CRT.

Pay
Starting at $19.555 per hour (Estimated $20,337.20) with a structured step progression system and performance-based pay increases every 6 months up to $21.161 per hour (Estimated $22,007.44 annually).

This position requires flexible scheduling with anticipated work hours of 7 AM-3:30 PM on Monday & Tuesday and 7 AM - 11 AM on Wednesday.
