Facilities and Transportation Maintenance Assistant
Arkansas Early Learning, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization established to serve the needs of children and families throughout the State of Arkansas. It offers FREE Infant, Toddler, and Pre‑K childcare/daycare programs serving 11 counties with numerous centers across the state, and provides transformational learning programs and child and family support services in a loving, caring, and safe environment.
About the role
The Facilities and Transportation Assistant assists in maintenance and repairs for all of the Agency's buildings, facilities, and agency vehicles; monitors and evaluates the work of Facilities Assistants and contractors; and assures compliance with standards and regulations relating to transportation, maintenance, and facilities.

Requirements
- Minimum of High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Preferred: minimum of one year of related clerical/administrative experience, with strong emphasis in record keeping, spreadsheets, tracking, and contact with the public.
- Preferred: general knowledge of facility and vehicle maintenance.
- Physical demands: regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must frequently lift and/or move 10‑30 pounds, and occasionally 50 pounds.
