About the Opportunity

The Facilities and IT Manager coordinates facilities, space planning, IT equipment, and information management activities across multiple locations. This role ensures effective management of workspace and technology resources, supports compliance with records and information requests, and serves as a key liaison between internal teams and agency partners. The position plays an important role in maintaining operational readiness and optimizing facilities and technology resources.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate unclassified and classified space planning, including workspace allocation and reconfiguration aligned with agency initiatives.
  • Support forecasting of space requirements based on workforce needs, mission growth, and telework impacts.
  • Identify, track, and resolve facilities issues and service requests across multiple locations.
  • Gather requirements from subdivisions and agency facilities partners for relocations and workspace optimization.
  • Provide leadership with updates and reporting on facilities status, risks, and key decisions.
  • Maintain and track IT equipment inventory in accordance with accountability and telework policies.
  • Coordinate with the IT office to address equipment needs, refresh cycles, and technical issues.
  • Provide basic IT equipment support and troubleshooting to team members.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with property handling standards.
  • Serve as a liaison for IT provisioning, equipment moves, and workspace IT configurations.
  • Compile and coordinate responses to FOIA requests to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Guide records custodians in identifying, collecting, and uploading responsive records.
  • Train and advise team members on FOIA procedures and documentation standards.
  • Review documents for completeness before finalizing FOIA responses.
  • Liaise with the FOIA office to track and archive request documentation.
  • Maintain FOIA tracking systems, metrics, and audit-ready records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

Annual salary range: $110,000–$135,000, based on education, experience, qualifications, skills, and applicable contract requirements.
