About the role

The Caritas-Krankenhaus St. Lukas in Kelheim is a hospital providing basic and routine care with 200 beds. The main departments include General and Visceral Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine (Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Diabetes, Angiology, and Pulmonology), Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, and special departments such as Urology, ENT, and Dermatology. The hospital also collaborates with various other medical disciplines both within the hospital and independently.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia care for patients of all age groups in the central operating room and our external areas
• Interdisciplinary intensive care patient care
• Care of the delivery room
• Surgical shock room care (DGU certified local trauma center)
• Participation in on-call service (24 hours, level 100) after completion of intensive care time
• Opportunity to participate in emergency medicine service (with additional employment permission)

Requirements

• Fellow in Anesthesiology (m/w/d) or
• Physician (m/w/d) in advanced training (after 4th year of training)
• Experience and enthusiasm for surgery and intensive care
• A high degree of social competence, combined with a patient-oriented and empathetic working style
• Reliability, readiness to work, and ambition
