Facebook marketeer

About the role

We’re in business to help children by freeing them from child labour and to give them opportunities to a better life. You will be in charge of the social media platform Facebook and report to the marketing managers. You work closely together in a small team (3-5 persons). This is an extremely important job, about 30% of our donations come from social media marketing. It is your mission to increase this number by sharing real-life stories from our field operators, to give updates and highlight relevant news of our charity.

Your mission as a Social Media Specialist at The Next Smile is to accelerate our presence in social media in order to increase brand awareness and generate leads from donors. We need your Social Media marketing skills to reach people who also want to make a difference, by supporting The Next Smile. You will be one of our go-to-person when it comes to Social Media expertise and we are eager to get inspired by you.

Responsibilities

• Publishing posts
• Increasing our reach, interaction and followers
• Allowed to make partnerships with other accounts
• 4-5 hour work week on voluntary basis (own hours, 1 hour a day when it suits you)
• Work remotely
• Continuously follow up, analyse and evaluate results based on set KPIs
• Communicate directly with project managers, sometimes directly with the director

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in digital marketing communications
• Fluent in English
• Solid Facebook knowledge and experience
• Passionate marketing/communications guru
• Self-motivated
• Able to develop content (we provide pictures and videos)
• Creative
• Proactive
• Disciplined since you work remotely
• Not afraid of deadlines
• Want to make a true difference
