Face to Face Interpreter - Hebrew

About the Role

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, the largest local interpretation & translation business in Columbus, is seeking Hebrew Language Interpreters for face-to-face assignments. As an interpreter, you'll use your bilingual skills to assist during medical, social service, and other appointments. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours and take as many or as few assignments as you like.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interpretation services for clients in various settings, including medical and social service appointments.
• Assist individuals who speak Hebrew by facilitating clear and accurate communication.

Requirements

• Located in the Central Ohio area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of completion of an accredited interpreter training program of at least 40 hours (e.g., Bridging the Gap, Access Academy, Court Interpretation, or a Certificate/Degree in interpretation).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited organization.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Hebrew.
• No previous professional interpretation experience required.
• Welcome to those who speak English as a second language (ESL).
