Fabricator (Welder) – Prefabrication Shop

About the role

This position is based in Hammond, WI.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and verify prefabricated components with precision and efficiency.
• Help ensure that each project meets quality standards and is completed on schedule.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes.
• Operate various power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape sheet metal and ductwork components.
• Conduct rigging and pipe threading tasks for assembly or installation purposes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices, mechanical handling, and use of power tools.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school diploma/certification preferred.
• Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Open to learning new skills and willingly accepts feedback for continuous improvement.
• Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation.
