Fabricator - Repair Specialist
Responsibilities
- Review each product to determine the required repairs
- Ensure you have the proper tools and materials required to repair the product to an insurance quality standard
- For each repair, cut, trim, file, bend, or smooth parts to ensure proper standards are met
- Ensure quality control standards are met
- Adhere to assembly safety standards
- Work with team members to identify and develop improved methods of repair
- Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free warehouse environment with focus on injury prevention
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on repair experience is a plus
- Experience in construction, drywall, painting, landscaping, or a role requiring attention to quality and detail
- Strong focus on quality and deep care for the product and your work
- High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and commitment to safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations
- Ability to access all areas of the building without limitations
