Fabricator Lead - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

MAAC is seeking an experienced fabricator/welder with supervisory experience to transition into a lead role. The Lead Fabricator will oversee production, train new employees, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Duties

• Fabrication and welding of machine frames and components using structural steel.
• Component assembly and coordination of fabrication tasks.
• Monitoring and coaching team members to meet production goals.
• Ensuring quality of manufactured and assembled items.
• Maintaining operational schedules and company objectives.
• Communicating with peers to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and motivating team members.

Desired Skills

• Minimum 4 years of fabrication experience with various metals.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare work plans and fabrication layouts.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication skills.
• Working knowledge of saw, shear, drill press, forklift, and overhead crane.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged (English + Spanish).
