Fabricator (Cincinnati, OH)

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned sheet metal fabrication tasks, including operating CNC plasma table, liner cut table, lock seam roller machines, hand tools, and manually operated fabrication machines.
• Handle sheet metal safely while operating machinery.
• Learn the operation of all shop machinery and understand specific safety requirements for each machine.
• Attend shop meetings related to assigned tasks and be prepared to address potential issues.
• Provide labor for specific jobs in a positive, efficient, and timely manner.
• Prioritize safety and safety practices during all task assignments.
• Ensure quality and profitability of each project by minimizing waste in materials and labor.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn the trade and assist as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of prior construction or sheet metal experience preferred.
• Stable work history.
• Able to use basic tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.).
• Honest, reliable, dependable, and display good character.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Eyesight correctable to 20/50.
• Able to stand for long hours.
• Lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Must not be afraid of handling raw edged sheet metal.
• Must provide own tape measure and boots.
