About the role
The Fabricator will join our production team at the Mission Engineering Center in Hampton, VA. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with CNC Press Brakes, CNC pipe and tubing benders, plasma cutters, and welding using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes. This role demands technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver results quickly and efficiently in support of our national defense objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage fabrication projects from blueprint to final product, ensuring all components are built to specification and delivered on time.
- Operate CNC Press Brakes, CNC pipe and tubing benders, plasma cutters, and perform all types of welding on various materials with a high degree of precision and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and customer specifications.
- Work closely with teammates to meet production goals and contribute to a high-performing team environment where shared knowledge and collaboration drive success.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace that complies with OSHA and company safety standards.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of fabrication experience, specializing in CNC Press Brakes, CNC pipe and tubing benders, plasma cutting, and welding.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay
$65,000 - $85,000 a year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance requirements, internal equity, and customer or contract requirements.
