Fabricator

About the role

Thompson Fabricating Inc., a steel fabrication and manufacturing shop with 30 years of experience in providing high-quality containers to the waste industry, seeks a full-time Fabricator for their Steel Rolloff container manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be part of a fast-paced, assembly line environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate shear, rolls, press brake and ironworker to prefabricate all containers.
• Cut and form all steel used as needed.
• Unload trucks in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Able to cut material as needed for production in advance.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Able to use overhead crane.
• Able to read and understand production schedules to ensure materials are ready ahead of scheduled production.
• Able to work in a team setting.

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to lift & carry up to 65 lbs.

Education and Experience

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
