Fabricator
About the role
Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. This role involves working with computer downloads for program-controlled CNC machines and staying current on CNC operations training.
- Performs tooling change out, monitoring usage for scheduled sharpening or tooling replacement as needed to maximize machine performance and maintain quality parts.
- Performs daily, weekly, and periodic machine maintenance as directed per the preventative maintenance system.
- Performs machine set up for self and/or others for batch parts runs.
- Effectively troubleshoots minor machine problems and coordinates service to minimize downtime.
- Provides backup to the Fabricating Supervisor for day-to-day production operations.
- Endeavors to create a work environment that is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product, and focuses on the customer, while providing room for individual responsibilities and ideas.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
