Fabricator

AIS is seeking a Fabricator Assistant to join our Manufacturing Support team in Leominster, MA. This full-time, first-shift position reports to Jason Truscott and operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new items and repair or maintain existing ones using hand tools, common power tools (sanders, drills, saws), and metal-fabrication techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete tasks independently after initial instruction.
• Operate fork trucks and scissor lifts, and work safely at heights.
• Handle multiple tasks and collaborate with the primary welder/fabricator to support factory projects of all types.
• Perform occasional off-hours or weekend work as needed.
• Engage in outside work when required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and maintain a strong safety record while working as part of a team.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, including welding and advanced fabrication.

Requirements

• Basic competency with hand tools and common power tools.
• Experience with cutting, metal fabrication, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 hourly.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
