Fabricator

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components for elevator systems.

Responsibilities

• Build metal frames and cases for elevators
• Use a variety of metalworking tools including shears, breaks, drills, and welding machines
• Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
• Work in confined spaces and at heights
• Perform heavy lifting

Requirements

• At least 2 years of metal fabrication experience
• Familiarity with metal working tools such as shears, breaks, drills, and welding machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Skills

• Proficiency with metalworking tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Mondays through Thursdays, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
