Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components
• Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to join metals securely according to ASME codes & standards
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated parts
• Execute pipe threading, frame/guard manufacturing, and assembly of mechanical components with rigging and mechanical knowledge
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices, crane operation, forklift handling, and power tool usage
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving plasma cutting, press brake operations, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks

Qualifications

• Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with hands-on fabrication skills
• Proficiency in MIG & TIG welding methods
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with calipers, tape measures, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication processes
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
• Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, rigging procedures, and assembly techniques
• Sheet metal experience a plus
• Machining experience a plus
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a construction or manufacturing environment
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
