Responsibilities

• Reading layouts and planning fabrication steps
• Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping metal materials
• Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, rolls, drill presses, flame cutters, grinding, bending, fitting, and aligning metal parts
• Welding components together to complete assemblies
• Building templates and fixtures for precision work
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and accuracy

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• OR 1-3 months of fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality
