FABRICATOR

About the role

CT&C Fabrication is seeking hard working, dependable Fabricators to cut, position, and piece together structural metal parts following precise engineering instructions from manuals, diagrams, and computerized drafting programs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering specifications, manuals, diagrams, and computerized drafting programs
• Cut, position, and assemble structural metal parts
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and unique tools
• Fit up and weld pieces for fabrication
• Perform welding tasks, including passing a 2G horizontal weld test using the GMAW process

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
• Understanding of welding principles and practices
• Proficiency with squares, measuring tapes, mag drills, grinders, and other hand tools
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for long periods of time

Schedule

Standard work schedule: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Overtime required depending on workload.
