FABRICATOR

Fabricator job duties include cutting out, positioning, and piecing together structural metal parts, following precise instructions before welding. Applicant must be able to read and understand engineering specs supplied by manuals, diagrams, and computerized drafting programs. Fabricators also have to utilize many unique tools and precision measuring instruments. CT&C Fabrication is currently seeking hard working, dependable Fabricators. Standard work schedule will be from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Saturday. Overtime required depending on workload. Must be able to pass a 2G horizontal weld test using the GMAW processAbility to read and understand fabrication drawingsUnderstanding of welding principles and practicesAbility to use squares, measuring tapes, mag drills, grinders, and other hand tools required for fabricationAble to fit up and weld pieces for fabricationAble to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
