Fabricator

About the role

Creative Sign Company a leading sign manufacturing company, is looking for a Sign Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality signs, including channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, and other custom signage. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with sign fabrication techniques and materials, a strong understanding of safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment (i.e. welding machines, power tools, and hand tools) to cut, weld, assemble, and finish a variety of custom signs based on customer specifications and design drawings.
• Work with various materials, including metals, plastics, acrylics, and electrical components, to create signs that meet industry standards, as well as the company’s quality and aesthetic standards.
• Maintain consistent product quality while working within time constraints to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, design, production, paint, and installation) to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Communicate eAectively with team members to address challenges, share ideas, and solve problems collaboratively.
• Document all time and materials thoroughly and properly in Mothernode for all projects worked on.
• Document any changes or deviations from original design specifications in Mothernode and communicate them to the team as needed.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies when using tools and machinery.
• Ensure the safe handling and proper storage of materials and chemicals used in fabrication.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions and adhere to OSHA regulations.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in designated areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional technical training in sign fabrication, welding, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in sign fabrication, including working with a variety of materials and fabrication techniques. Strong experience with welding, hand tools, and power tools is required.
• Welding certification or similar technical certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (LED) is a plus.
• OSHA safety certifications are a plus.
