Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Bends aluminum or stainless-steel parts using machine tools, fabricating according to customer orders.
- Performs welding duties as required for parts fabricated according to customer specifications.
- Fabricates items such as battery boxes, stainless steel tank straps, tread plate aluminum deck plates, using correct measurements, tools, and machinery.
- Operates all fabricating and welding machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Cleans work area at the end of each day to reduce clutter and eliminate safety hazards.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Welding certification from an accredited welding school/program.
- Ability to learn and operate shears, press brakes, and forklift truck.
- A positive attitude with a customer service focus in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented, focused, driven, and self-starter.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Shifts
- Mondays through Thursdays: 7:45am - 5:15pm
- Fridays: 8am - noon

Working Conditions
- Periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending.
- Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces.
- Heat/cold conditions in warehouse.
- Moderate use of hands and arms.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. by self, or team lift up to 100 lbs.
- Use of mechanical lifts required for heavier orders.
- Heavy-duty machinery operation.
- May be subject to periods of driving a forklift truck.
