About the role
Griffon Aerospace seeks a Fabrication Technician (Welder & Fabricator) to fabricate and assemble custom metal products. Located in Madison, AL, this position is part of a growing small business that supports the American Warfighter.
Responsibilities
- Run and operate a CNC plasma cutting machine
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on multiple alloys of aluminum and steel
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Operate a forklift
- Use hand and power tools
- Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- Work standing for an 8-hour shift
Requirements
- Previous machining experience
- Previous forklift operation experience
- CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)
- Ability to pass forklift operation training
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently
- Standing for an 8-hour shift
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Skills
