Fabrication Specialist (contract)
Position Responsibilities
- Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
- Assembles pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems
- Measures tolerances using micrometer, calipers, and gauges
- Works with torque specifications and mechanical clearances
- Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements
Basic Requirements
- Experience in mechanical (tube installations)
- Structural drilling and assembly
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Experience working on a NASA Program
- Experience in a clean room environment
- Making manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware
- Experience in installation and handling of tubes, valves, fittings
- Experience in Structural assembly with an emphasis on match drilling aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
- Experience with tubing and ducting installation
Pay Rate Range
30 - 35 USD hourly
