Fabrication Specialist (contract)

Position Responsibilities

• Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
• Assembles pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems
• Measures tolerances using micrometer, calipers, and gauges
• Works with torque specifications and mechanical clearances
• Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements

Basic Requirements

• Experience in mechanical (tube installations)
• Structural drilling and assembly

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience working on a NASA Program
• Experience in a clean room environment
• Making manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware
• Experience in installation and handling of tubes, valves, fittings
• Experience in Structural assembly with an emphasis on match drilling aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
• Experience with tubing and ducting installation

Pay Rate Range

30 - 35 USD hourly
