Fabrication Specialist B (contract)
About the role
This role is a contract assignment with Boeing, where candidates will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing-approved third-party for the duration of the specified project.
Responsibilities
- Apply organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements
- Perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation using brush, roll, and spray application methods
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process work instructions to ensure work is completed in alignment with engineering intent
- Vacuum and mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware
- Application of Thermal Protective Systems through spray and pour methods
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience with interrupting drawings and process documents (preferred)

- Strong commitment to following all assigned safety guidelines and procedures
Skills
- Ability to apply organic coatings
- Ability to perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process work instructions
