Fabrication Specialist B (contract)

About the role

This role is a contract assignment with Boeing, where candidates will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing-approved third-party for the duration of the specified project.

Responsibilities

• Apply organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements
• Perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation using brush, roll, and spray application methods
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and process work instructions to ensure work is completed in alignment with engineering intent
• Vacuum and mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware
• Application of Thermal Protective Systems through spray and pour methods

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience with interrupting drawings and process documents (preferred)

• Strong commitment to following all assigned safety guidelines and procedures
