- Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and Production Routings within the ERP system to ensure seamless manufacturing execution.
- Upload and manage technical specifications, drawings, and customer documentation using Agile PLM.
- Apply expert knowledge of sheet metal processes—including CNC punching, press brake bending, welding (TIG/MIG/Spot), industrial painting/powder coating, and final mechanical assembly—to define optimized production paths.
- Review customer design files and engineering change orders (ECOs) to ensure all specifications are achievable and properly documented.
- Take full ownership of REACH and RoHS certifications, ensuring all materials and components meet global environmental and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to refine routings and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle times.
Required Technical Skills
- Sheet Metal Expertise: Practical understanding of metal deformation, bend deductions, and the sequencing of punching and welding operations.
- System Proficiency: Advanced experience with Agile PLM and standard ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with environmental compliance tracking (REACH, RoHS, and Conflict Minerals).
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret complex GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and 3D CAD models.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a fabrication or electromechanical assembly environment.
- Detail Orientation: High precision in data entry and documentation management.
