Fabrication B (Shift 1 & 3) Ceramics Powder Operator

Responsibilities

• Works with and interprets standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work.
• Checks and inspects operations against specified tolerances.
• Load and unload tunnel and calcine kilns.
• Will batch powder and complete paperwork.
• Load and unload mills.
• Operate spray dryers.
• Slip cast crucibles.

Qualifications

• Requires developing job knowledge/skills.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Preferred Additional Skills: Basic computer skills, Mechanical experience background, Forklift operating experience, Basic math skills, Good writing and communications skills.

Pay

Commensurate with experience.
