Fabricating Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Fabricating Supervisor is responsible for overseeing finishing activities such as folding, gluing, waxing, stripping, and bundling, ensuring efficient and safe operations on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management to plan work orders
• Manage employee schedules and approve time records
• Enforce company policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Conduct ongoing employee training on equipment, safety, and production standards
• Supervise equipment operation to prevent malfunctions
• Analyze performance and identify process improvements
• Set goals and participate in production meetings
• Ensure quality assurance and investigate customer complaints regarding finishing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred

• Some college or manufacturing training
• Supervisory experience in training, team-building, and conflict resolution

Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, safety practices, and machinery
• Familiarity with shop floor software
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
• Analytical and mechanical aptitude
