Essential Responsibilities
- Utilize a forklift to organize and stage truck equipment such as dump bodies and snowplows
- Use of basic hand tools to install parts and subassemblies
- Listen to and follow directions from supervisors
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely and safe manner
- Pick up and deliver parts/equipment when needed
- Perform general shop floor clean-up and maintenance
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic Computer skills and knowledge of Repair Order Processing Software
- The position requires the ability to operate motor vehicles and a safe driving record. Current Commercial Driver's License is preferred but not required
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate mechanical tools such as wrenches, sockets, grips, air tools, and other basic shop tools
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability requires a person to bend, twist, squat, and reach to perform tasks
- Ability to lift a minimum of 60lbs unassisted
