Fab Operator

About the role

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd Shift Fab Operator at our Ellsworth Facility.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

Responsibilities

• Run equipment throughout the fabrication department
• Use and understand AS400
• Read prints and use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE
• Perform other duties that may require additional qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment adjustments

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication equipment in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player with understanding of team concepts
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
