About the role

The TAAG Manager role involves providing strategic advice on complex financial and accounting issues to clients across various industries. This role requires collaboration with clients, internal teams, and other service lines to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients on complex and technical accounting issues
• Collaborating with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy
• Ensuring engagement teams understand clients' unique needs, ambitions, and expectations
• Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines
• Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve products and processes

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree, CPA certification, and at least 5 years’ work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Strong project management and time management skills
• A thorough understanding of US GAAP
• An understanding of marketplace, as well as commonly used terminology, processes, and tools
• A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring, and improving a team of high-performing colleagues
• The confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies

EY offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including a base salary range of $112,700 to $206,500, a flexible vacation policy, and a wide range of paid time off options. Additionally, EY provides medical and dental coverage, a pension plan, and a 401(k) plan.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $112,700 to $206,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $135,200 to $234,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
