Key Responsibilities
- Design F5 LTM and GTM solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices.
- Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM modules to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline F5 configurations and facilitate integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor F5 device performance and health using monitoring tools, setting up alerts for critical issues.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to F5 LTM and GTM, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Plan and execute F5 software upgrades and patches with minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain security configurations on F5 devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, procedures, and incident responses.
- Collaborate with application teams, network engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of F5 solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM modules.
- F5 Certified Technician: BIG-IP (101 or 201).
- F5 Certified Implementation Specialist: Local Traffic Manager (201 or 301).
- F5 Certified Implementation Specialist: Global Traffic Manager (201 or 301).
- F5 Certified Solutions Expert: Application Delivery Fundamentals (301 or 401).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing algorithms.
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS, security protocols, and F5 security features such as ASM.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (must be a U.S. citizen; green card holders not accepted).
