F5 Load Balance Network Engineer

Your greatest work is ahead! Leidos is seeking a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DOD. This role is responsible for implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies in a global enterprise across multiple networks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times.
- Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies.
- Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary.
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
- Develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects.
- Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages.
- Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.
Requirements
- Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
- Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
- Experience working independently in support of customer requirements.
- Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.
- Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.
Qualifications
- At a minimum, meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) – IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).
- Must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Skills
Basic technical skills and certifications are required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Pay
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
