F135 Sustainment Materials Planner - (Onsite)

This position is onsite in East Hartford, CT and requires U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

About the role

As the F135 Sustainment Materials Manager, you will enable the delivery of products and services in support of the F-35’s F135 Propulsion System within a fast-moving global network. You will partner with Industrial, Engineering, repair supply partners, MRP Controllers, and Delivery Assurance to ensure continuous flow of inventory into the government-owned network.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and drive MRP alignment to support F135 Initial & Replenishment Spares, including final planning on range and depth of target inventory quantities at multiple locations.
• Generate reporting on spares sales order placements, follow-ups, expedites, and delivery status.
• Refine material item management and logistics support capabilities as a key team member.
• Apply high-level analytical skills and strong MS Excel proficiency (XLookup, VLookup, Compound IF Statements, and other intermediate to advanced formulas) to analyze spares redistribution data, support fleet global availability requirements, and determine allocation prioritization.
• Lead meetings, debrief on actions, and provide cross-functional information in a dynamic environment, including briefing senior leaders.
• Provide coaching and mentoring.
• Engage in ad hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years of experience managing MRP and/or inventory in an operational supply chain, or an Advanced degree with 3 years of such experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon internal supply policies, practices, DPAS requirements, and standard work, with proficiency in SAP transactions.
• Strong analytical skills to organize, analyze, and present spares information from multiple systems.
• Demonstrated self-starting ability, initiative, and capacity to drive complex issues to closure.
• Knowledge of current Department of Defense engine material and logistics support concepts.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
