About the Role
Ferrari of San Diego is seeking an ambitious F & I Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with one of the world's most powerful brands, known for engineering excellence and innovation at the highest level.
Responsibilities
- Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers, providing thorough explanations of aftermarket products, extended warranties, and manufacturer/dealership service procedures and policies.
- Establish rapport with customers, review credit applications and reports, and discuss available finance options to meet their needs.
- Prepare delivery documentation, including loan documents, DMV paperwork, and other legal forms required by state and federal regulatory bodies.
- Seek new lending institutions and maintain relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately, securing approval through financial sources and proper federal, state, and corporate channels.
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
- Create and maintain a program with the sales department to ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Train and provide the sales team with information on finance and lease programs, as well as the benefits of dealership financing and extended service programs.
Requirements
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- Understanding of the automotive market and consumer demands.
- Ability to negotiate and apply outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer software programs, including database systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- High-energy personality with a great attitude.
- Experience using Tekion preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automotive finance department.
- High school diploma.
Pay
$17.75 per hour + commission.
