Key Responsibilities
- Structure financing deals to meet the needs of customers while ensuring dealership profitability.
- Present and sell financing, extended warranties, insurance products, and other aftermarket options in a transparent and ethical manner.
- Secure approvals through lenders and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
- Review and ensure accuracy of all sales and financing paperwork to guarantee compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available finance programs, insurance offerings, and dealership policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve department and dealership sales goals.
- Protect the dealership by ensuring all transactions are handled ethically and in line with compliance standards.
- Monitor and report on department performance, including penetration rates, profit margins, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Provide training and guidance to sales staff regarding finance and insurance processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive dealership F&I or finance-related role.
- Strong knowledge of finance laws, regulations, and dealership compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to build strong lender relationships and secure competitive financing options.
- Proficient in dealership management software (DMS), credit bureau systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
