About the role
Responsible for overseeing the performance and coordination of all daily operations of an outlet.
Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day F&B outlet operations and take needed action to ensure standards of product presentation and service are being maintained.
- Supervise staff within an assigned outlet to ensure quality and service levels are being met.
- Assure F&B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations.
- Assist in developing and managing adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure quality control of product and service.
- Assist in maximizing the revenues of the outlet or bar while minimizing operating costs.
- Respond to guest inquiries and coordinate special arrangements and requests for F&B outlets.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, purchasing supplies, and ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations.
- Perform administrative responsibilities to include, but not limited to inventory control, payroll, and personnel procedures.
- May be assigned to Food & Beverage workstations of the casino and/or hotel.
- Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.
- Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Access to sensitive areas and information as per the ACGC Access Matrix.
- Signatory ability for accounting-related forms, HR-related forms, and complimentary vouchers as allowed per Comp Matrix.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years' experience in food & beverage management preferred.
- Ability to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
- May be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
- Sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
